Terms and Conditions
1. Overview
The website www.houseofchiki.shop is operated by “MMI Design” SARL, based in Marrakech, Morocco.
By accessing our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as any additional policies linked on our site.
These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, customers, vendors, and content contributors.
2. Products
Our products are handmade Moroccan artisanal pieces.
Each item is unique or made in limited quantities; slight variations in shape, color, or texture are normal and not considered defects.
Product photos are not contractually binding.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in the customer’s local currency.
They exclude shipping fees, customs duties, and destination taxes.
Customers are responsible for any import duties charged upon delivery.
4. Orders
Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
A confirmation email is sent summarizing the order details.
Orders are prepared within 24 to 72 hours. A confirmation email is sent to the customer once the order is ready.
House of Chiki may cancel orders in case of stock unavailability or exceptional circumstances.
5. Payment
Payments are accepted via credit/debit cards using a secure payment processor.
No banking information is stored on our website.
6. Delivery
Delivery times are as follows:
- Morocco: 2–5 business days
- International: 15–20 business days, depending on the country
Inspection upon delivery
Customers must open, unpack, and inspect their order in the presence of the carrier.
To claim a refund or replacement for damaged items, precise and clear remarks must be written on the delivery slip.
Signing the delivery slip confirms that the parcel was received in good condition.
Without written reservations, House of Chiki cannot process claims for damage.

7. Returns & Refunds
Customers may return items within 14 days at their own expense.
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.

- Unique artworks
- Items damaged by misuse

8. Availability
Stock is limited due to the artisanal nature of our products.
If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, customers may choose an exchange, store credit, or refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All site content (images, texts, designs, logos, product visuals) is the property of House of Chiki or its artisans.
Any reproduction is forbidden without written permission.
10. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with Moroccan Law 09-08.
Data is used solely for orders, customer service, and — with consent — marketing.
Requests for access, correction, or deletion can be sent to info@houseofchiki.shop.
11. Liability
House of Chiki is not responsible for:
- Delivery delays caused by carriers or customs
- Customs or import fees
- Minor differences between product photos and handmade items
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control (natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, etc.).
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Moroccan law.
Any dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Casablanca.
